Almost 20 Russian artillery, drone strikes target Nikopol district on Monday

On July 22, almost 20 Russian attacks involving kamikaze drones and artillery were launched at Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district.

That’s according to the chief of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, who broke the news on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The terror targeting the civilians in the Nikopol district just doesn’t stop... In total, there were almost two dozen attacks by kamikaze drones and artillery in the area. They targeted the district center, as well aas the Pokrovsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Myriv, and Marhanets communities," Lukashuk wrote.

He noted that the enemy left two apartment blocks damaged, as well as several shops, a kiosk, farm, laboratory, pawnshop, office building, utility company, nine households, two farm buildings, four cars, a truck, and several power lines.

Lukashuk recalled that five people were injured in today’s Russian artillery shelling in Nikopol: a 37-year-old man was hospitalized, while two women, 65 and 34, and two men, 32 and 36, will be receiving medical treatment at home.

As reported, the Nikopol district in Dnipropetrovsk region is currently under constant shelling by Russian troops.
