New wave of deportation of officials' families to Russia in Crimea - Yusov
Following effective strikes by the Ukrainian Defence Forces on military facilities in Crimea, a new wave of families of Russian officials is being deported from the peninsula.
This was reported by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, in a commentary to Ukrinform.
"Recently, after a series of effective actions by the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces, strikes, in particular, on military logistics, we can say that a new wave [of families of Russian officials being taken out] is observed," Yusov said.
He added that both military and civilian officials are taking their families out of Crimea, and this process has been going on for quite some time.
As reported by Ukrinform, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said that the liberation of the temporarily occupied Crimea is realistic, adding that Ukraine has a plan to de-occupy the peninsula.
