Enemy submarine is in Black Sea - Pletenchuk
As of now, the Project 636 submarine Improved Kilo is currently in the Black Sea.
According to Ukrinform, this was stated by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, on the air of the national telethon "United News".
"The situation in the Black Sea remains unchanged. There is now a submarine in the Black Sea, the Improved Kilo 636 project. It has become a common practice for Russians to operate in this area," Pletenchuk said.
According to him, as for the Sea of Azov, no ships have been recorded in it so far.
"Apparently, someone gave the Russians a map and a compass, and they were finally able to calculate the radius of the attack and decided that it was deadly to be in the Azov Sea. The Sea of Azov is under our fire control, so they decided that we are working the same way as they are - using the media as a propaganda tool," the spokesman added.
He noted that this was a common practice for the occupiers and that the situation in the Black Sea was exactly the same. They continue to move the remnants of the fleets to Novorossiysk, and left in Crimea what they had nowhere to take. As for the auxiliary fleet, it mainly consists of enemy units that are undergoing repairs, and the rest of them, which are capable of something, are at the Novorossiysk base.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian invaders maintain a presence in the Black Sea with the help of aircraft and submarines.
