Ukraine's air defense forces shot down two Russian drones in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the early hours of Saturday, July 27.
Serhii Lysak, head of the region's military administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Units of the Air Command East shot down two enemy Shaheds over the region overnight," he wrote.
According to the regional governor, late on July 26, the Russian army launched two strikes on the Marhanets community in the Nikopol district, first using a kamikaze drone and then firing artillery.
Early on July 27, the invaders attacked Nikopol with a drone.
No casualties were reported, Lysak said.
On July 26, the invaders attacked the Nikopol district with drones and artillery almost 20 times.
