Ukraine's presidential couple visits Okhmatdyt children's hospital

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska on Saturday visited the Okhmatdyt National Children's Specialized Hospital and spoke with the children undergoing treatment there.

The head of state reported this on his Facebook page, according to Ukrinform.

"Despite everything, the institution is resuming its normal work and rebuilding its strength after the Russian attack. I thank everyone who is helping the hospital, those who were on site after the Russian missile hit, clearing the rubble and supporting the children. I thank everyone in the world who has sought solutions to support Ukrainians," Zelensky wrote.

During a massive missile attack on Ukraine on July 8, a Russian missile hit the Ohmatdyt children's hospital. The strike killed two adults, including a doctor.
