Child injured in Russian attack on Hlukhiv dies in hospital

A 14-year-old boy injured in a Russian attack on the center of Hlukhiv, Sumy region, on July 27 has died in the hospital.

The regional prosecutor's office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The shelling injured 13 civilians, including seven children. After some time, a 14-year-old boy died in the hospital," the post reads.

According to the prosecutor's office, apartment buildings, private houses, an educational institution, a store, and vehicles were damaged in the strike.

A pre-trial investigation is underway into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Earlier reports said that Russian forces had shelled Hlukhiv in the Sumy region with multiple rocket launchers, injuring ten people, among them six children.
