Ukrainian reconnaissance men show how helicopters were destroyed in Russia
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has officially confirmed the downing of three helicopters in Russia - one in Samara and two near Moscow - and released a video.
According to Ukrinform, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine posted this on Facebook.
"On 24 July 2024, an Mi-8 military multipurpose helicopter burned down at the Kryazh airfield in Samara, Russia. And a few days earlier, on 21 July 2024, two more helicopters of the aggressor state - an attack Mi-28 and a multi-purpose Ka-226 - were hit by fire in the village of Tomilino near Moscow," the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said.
The two helicopters were located on the territory of the Russian National Centre for Helicopter Construction Mil and Kamov.
"This military aviation enterprise of the aggressor state is engaged in the development, production and repair of helicopters. The centre has two design bureaus, pilot production, an experimental research complex and a testing centre," the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine noted.
As reported by Ukrinform, at night and in the morning of 27 July, three military airfields were attacked in Russia during an operation by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, an oil refinery was damaged and a supersonic bomber was damaged.
