Invaders teaching Ukrainian children in occupied areas to fly drones - human rights defender

Invaders are increasingly involving children in operating unmanned aerial vehicles.

Pavlo Lysianskyi, the founder of the Eastern Human Rights Group, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"In the occupied Ukrainian territory, the cases of children being involved in operating UAVs have become more frequent. But the occupiers are not acting chaotically, they have a whole 'strategy for the development of unmanned aviation of the Russian Federation until 2030 and 2035'," he wrote.

"Children aged 7 to 17" are currently involved in educational programs "unmanned aviation systems." In total, more than 600,000 children study under these programs.

The main goal of the occupiers is to train one million UAV management and maintenance specialists, the human rights defender added, referring to a document obtained from the occupied territories.
