Russian troops fired 677 shells at deoccupied part of Kherson region overnight

Russian troops fired 677 shells from various types of weapons at the deoccupied part of the Kherson region over the past day.

The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region reported this, Ukrinform reports.

“Yesterday, the enemy made 133 attacks, firing 677 shells from various types of weapons at the de-occupied part of the Kherson region,” the statement said.

It is noted that the rescuers went 10 times to eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling.

Residential buildings, outbuildings, and store premises were on fire. In particular, five fires were extinguished in ecosystems with a total area of 6.5 hectares.

As reported by Ukrinform, 75 objects in the Kherson region were damaged by Russian shelling over the past day.
