Russian troops shell village in Kharkiv region, fire breaks out

On the afternoon of July 29, Russian troops shelled the Chuhuiv district in the Kharkiv region. A fire broke out that resulted in the death of poultry.  

The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"This afternoon, the enemy attacked the private sector of Lozova village in the Vovchansk community of the Chuhuiv district. As a result of the shelling, private houses and outbuildings were destroyed and partially damaged," the statement said.

According to the rescuers, two fires were extinguished, with the flames having initially originated in two yards. The total area of the affected outbuildings was 30 square meters. The fire was extinguished, and the flames did not spread to residential buildings.

"Fortunately, there were no casualties among local residents. However, the fire resulted in the deaths of over 100 domesticated birds," the SES said.

As reported, on the night of Monday, July 29, Russian troops struck Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, with guided missiles, damaging private homes.
