Syrskyi, Brown discuss battlefield situation
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Charles Brown discussed the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine.
Syrskyi said this in a post on his Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
The Commander-in-Chief expressed gratitude to the United States for the significant strengthening of Ukraine’s air defenses, and for assistance with weapons, ammunition, and equipment.
He emphasized that the priorities for the Armed Forces remain to achieve air superiority and expand the ability to destroy enemy targets regardless of their location.
As reported by Ukrinform, it is likely that Russian troops will continue their tactical advance in the coming weeks, according to British intelligence.
