Enemy carries out one of most massive drone attacks on Ukraine since invasion
The Russian army last night carried out one of the most massive drone attacks on Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
The Kyiv City Military Administration announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.
"Last night Russian invaders carried out one of the most massive strike drone attacks against Ukraine during the entire war! And the main target of the aggressor was Kyiv. The enemy directed dozens of drones at the Ukrainian capital, a peaceful city. This was already the seventh enemy drone attack on Kyiv in July!" Serhii Popko, head of the city's military administration, said in the post.
This attack was the most massive for Kyiv in 2024 in terms of the number of UAVs used, he added.
The air raid alert lasted more than seven hours. Enemy drones entered Kyiv in waves and from almost all possible directions. Air defenders shot down more than 30 drones in the airspace of Kyiv and on approaches to the city! According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties or damage in Kyiv.
