One killed, five injured in enemy strikes on Kherson region
Russian shelling has left one person dead and five others injured in the Kherson region.
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the region's military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, on July 30, Russian shelling and airstrikes targeted Sadove, Antonivka, Novokairy, Chornobaivka, Odradokamianka, Komyshany, Novovorontsovka, Beryslav, Oleksandrivka, Virivka, Tiahynka, Novotiahynka, Sukhanove, Romashkove, Lvove, Havrylivka and Kherson.
The Russian military struck critical infrastructure, an agricultural enterprise, and residential areas in the region, including two apartment buildings and 46 private houses. Gas pipelines, outbuildings, garages and private cars were damaged.
"During a nighttime drone attack, air defense forces destroyed nine Shahed-136 drones in our region," Prokudin wrote.
Enemy strikes left one person dead and five others injured, one of them was a child.
"At night, a 68-year-old man was killed by a Russian drone strike in Kherson. My condolences to the family of the deceased. A 73-year-old woman was also injured. She was diagnosed with a concussion. Doctors treated her at the scene," Prokudin added.
Enemy shelling injured three residents of Oleksandrivka.
"These are two men aged 26 and 53 and a 54-year-old woman. They suffered blast injuries and concussion," Prokudin said.
