13 houses damaged in nighttime drone attack in Kyiv region

As a result of a night attack by Russian attack drones, 13 houses in four districts of Kyiv region were damaged.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko posted this on Facebook.

“All night long, the enemy massively attacked our region with attack drones. The alert lasted more than seven hours. Air defense forces were working in the region. All enemy targets were shot down. There were no hits to residential and critical infrastructure. There were no casualties among the population,” the statement said.

As of 9:30 a.m., 13 private houses in four districts of the Kyiv region have been damaged. Debris damaged the facades, roofs, and smashed windows. Rescuers extinguished a fire in one of these houses.

Operational groups continue to work on fixing and eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack. The majority of the UAV debris fell outside of the settlements.

According to Kravchenko, all victims will be provided with the necessary assistance.

As Ukrinform reported, at night and in the morning of August 31, air defense forces destroyed an Kh-59 missile and 89 attack UAVs.

In Kyiv region, a residential building caught fire as a result of the fall of drone debris.
