One killed, ten wounded as Russians shell 20 settlements in Kherson region in past day

Russian forces shelled 20 settlements in the Kherson region on Wednesday, July 31, killing one person and wounding ten others.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional state administration, announced this on the Telegram messenger, Ukrinform reports.

"Yesterday, enemy fire and airstrikes targeted Bilozerka, Kizomys, Veletenske, Berehove, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Oleksandrivka, Antonivka, Sadove, Beryslav, Chervonyi Maiak, Piatykhatky, Lvove, Vysokopillia, Mykhailivka, Nova Kamianka, Chervonyi Yar, Havrylivka, Petropavlivka and Kherson," he wrote.

According to Prokudin, Russia's military struck residential areas in the region, including an apartment building and 27 private houses. An office building, an outbuilding, and private cars were damaged.

During an overnight drone attack, Ukraine's air defense forces destroyed two Shahed-131/136 UAVs in the region, he added.
