Elderly man injured in Kherson region as result of shelling of village

On the morning of Friday, 16 August, a local resident was injured as a result of Russian shelling of Tomina Balka in the Kherson region.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration on Telegram.

Around 5:40 a.m., Russian troops struck Tomina Balka, ‘a 71-year-old man who was in the building was hit. He sustained an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to his back and shoulder,’ the statement said.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

As reported by Ukrinform, on 15 August, Russians attacked 25 settlements in Kherson region, killing one person and wounding five others.
