Netherlands to allocate EUR 271M for artillery shells for Ukraine

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof has said that the Netherlands will allocate EUR 271 million for large-caliber artillery shells for Ukraine.

The minister announced this on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.

“Denmark, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands are committed to jointly supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. A year ago, we launched an initiative to supply ammunition and today we are taking another important step. We are going to supply more large caliber artillery ammunition. For this, the Netherlands is contributing EUR 271 million for artillery shells. This will help Ukraine with ammunition supplies in 2025 and encourage the European defense industry to scale up further,” the post reads.
