Austin announces new military aid package worth $400M for Ukraine

At a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has announced the allocation of a new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine.

This was reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.

“Under President Biden’s leadership, the United States remains committed to keeping up this support. I’m pleased to announce today a commitment of a $400 million presidential drawdown package to provide your forces with additional munitions, armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons,” Austin said.
