Massive explosions in Sevastopol - witnesses
Loud explosions were heard in Sevastopol, temporarily occupied Crimea.
This is reported by the Telegram channel Crimean Wind, Ukrinform saw.
"Loud explosions were heard in Sevastopol. Subscribers cannot determine whether this is air defense in action or impacts on the ground," the report says.
It is noted that Russian air defense was firing at air targets from the Belbek airfield and the Inkerman district, while local residents heard the sound of a UAV midair over the northern side of Sevastopol.
Also, according to the Telegram channel, Russian air defense is active at the Saki airfield in Novofedorivka, were four blasts were heard.
Later, the Russian Telegram channel Mash reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Belbek airfield in Sevastopol. According to monitors, about 40 UAVs, Neptune low-altitude anti-ship missiles, and unidentified cruise missiles were flying to the northwest of the peninsula. The platform alleges these could be Storm Shadow missiles.
As Ukrinform reported in early October, two powerful explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. They could be heard in the area from Sevastopol to Miskhor, as well as in the Bakhchisarai district and Yalta.
