Ukrainian forces shoot down 22 Russian drones

Ukraine's defense forces shot down 22 Russian drones during an overnight attack on Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Air Force announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

Beginning at 22:00 on Monday, December 2, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 28 Shahed strike drones and UAVs of other types launched from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Oryol, and Millerovo.

By 09:00 on Tuesday, December 3, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces had intercepted and destroyed 22 enemy drones over the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

One drone disappeared from radars, while two others exited Ukrainian airspace, heading toward Belarus and Russian-occupied territories.

Several strikes on critical infrastructure were reported in the Ternopil and Rivne regions.
