Attack on Rivne region: fire at energy facility extinguished

Rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) have extinguished a fire at an infrastructure facility in Rivne region caused by an enemy attack.

According to Ukrinform, the SES press service reported this.

"Last night, a fire broke out at an infrastructure facility due to an enemy attack. Fifty firefighters and 12 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing it," the report reads.

The SES confirmed that there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the attack.

This follows reports of Russian forces targeting an energy infrastructure facility in the Rivne region.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, a fire at an energy facility in Ternopil was extinguished following a Russian attack.
