Russia suffers 1,670 war casualties, loses air defense system in past day
Russia’s combat casualty toll in Ukraine since the invasion has reached an estimated 747,370, including 1,670 killed or wounded in the past day alone.
That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.
Defense Forces have destroyed 9,493 Russian tanks (+7 in the past day), 19,450 (+31) armored fighting vehicles, 21,002 (+26) artillery systems, 1,253 MLR systems, 1,020 (+1) air defense systems, 369 warplanes, 329 helicopters, 19,946 (+29) operational and tactical-level UAVs, 2,855 cruise missiles, 28 warships/cutters, a submarine, 30,746 (+80) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 3,628 (+1) units of specialized equipment.
The latest data on enemy losses are being verified.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that combat zones in Donetsk region require significant reinforcement. This concerns arms supplies from partners.
