Ukraine’s SOF soldiers ambush Russian positions, killing three, capturing one
A forward unit of the Special Operations Forces eliminated three Russian soldiers, capturing another one after a stealthy ambush of an enemy position at the frontline, approaching it from the rear.
That’s according to the SOF command, who posted raw footage of the raid.
"Operators from the Prince Sviatoslav the Brave 3rd Separate Regiment of the Special Operations Forces cleared enemy positions, gained a foothold, and ensured the advance of a friendly unit of Ukraine’s Defense Forces," the report says.
When the tactical group ambushed enemy positions, a battle broke out. The SOF fighters eliminated three Russian soldiers in close combat and forced another one to surrender.
During the special raid, the Russians engaged the team, using grenades dropped from FPV drones, but the SOF operators shot enemy UAVs down.
The group suffered no casualties during the operation.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, an SOF unit attacked a Russian position in Kursk region, killing 17 Russians in action and taking another 12 prisoner.
