Air defense remains priority in security assistance to Ukraine – Pentagon

Strengthening Ukraine's air defense capabilities remains a top priority in security assistance provided by the United States and its international partners.

Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said this at a briefing on Wednesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"One of Ukraine's priority defenses remains air defenses," Singh said.

She noted that the United States continued to supply Ukraine with air defense systems through presidential drawdown packages and the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).
