
Three service members from Mine Action Center killed in Mykolaiv terrorist attack
On February 14, a terrorist attack in Mykolaiv claimed the lives of three service members from the Mine Action Center -- Vadym Yelisieiev, Olena Kliuchnikova, and Yevhenii Siryk.
According to Ukrinform, the Mine Action Center announced their deaths in a Facebook post.
"With deep sorrow and pain in our hearts, we report the tragic loss of three service members from the Mine Action Center, who gave their lives fulfilling their military duty to the Motherland. As a result of a brutal terrorist attack, Ukraine has lost courageous warriors and devoted defendresses of its land. Their names will forever be etched in our memory as symbols of bravery, honor, and self-sacrifice. These soldiers selflessly ensured the safety of Ukrainian citizens, neutralizing mine threats and saving the lives of civilians and their comrades. Their contribution to the country's defense is invaluable, and their sacrifice is timeless," the statement read.

The Mine Action Center extended its deepest condolences to the families, friends, and comrades of the fallen soldiers and called for support in raising aid for their families.

According to media reports, a video of the explosion surfaced online. It shows a woman with a bag exiting a store and walking toward a group of soldiers before the explosion occurred.
Earlier reports indicated that the woman and one soldier had been killed, while eight others had been injured.
