Russia attacks Nikopol district with artillery and drones, three injured

Russian forces shelled the Nikopol district in the Dnipropetrovsk region throughout the day using heavy artillery and drones, injuring three people.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Since morning, the aggressor has struck the Nikopol district nearly 20 times, targeting the district center, as well as the Marhanets, Pokrovske, and Myrove communities. The enemy used heavy artillery, kamikaze drones, and dropped a munition from a UAV. In the afternoon, two people were injured in the attacks. Later in the evening, a 63-year-old man was also wounded. He will receive outpatient treatment," Lysak said.

The attacks damaged several businesses, three private homes, a summer house, three vehicles, and an unused building.

Earlier reports said that a 57-year-old and a 71-year-old man had been injured by artillery shelling in Nikopol.
