Thirty Russian UAVs spotted in airspace over Kyiv region overnight Sat

Sixteen Russian drones were destroyed over Kyiv region overnight March 28-29 of the 30 UAVs spotted in the area.

The municipal military administration reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"Over the past day, an air raid alert went off in the capital twice: from 23:04 to 01:05 and from 01:15 to 02:17, with a total duration of 3 hours and 3 minutes," the statement says.

“On the night of March 29, thirty enemy UAVs were spotted in Kyiv airspace and in the capital’s vicinity. Sixteen of them were destroyed by air defense forces. The rest either disappeared from radar of left the relevant airspace,” the administration detailed.

There were no casualties or damage within city limits, officials emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, air defense was activated in the capital and Kyiv region during the Russian drone attack late Friday.
