Russians shell border community in Sumy region, killing farm worker

Russian forces shelled Velykopysarivka community in Sumy region with artillery, which resulted in the death of a 63-year-old farm worker.

This was reported on Facebook by the Office of the Prosecutor General, according to Ukrinform.

The invaders launched the strike at around 11:40 on Saturday.

Law enforcement officials have initiated a pretrial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, which resulted in the death of a civilian (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As Ukrinform previously reported, early on March 29, Russian forces shelled border settlements in Sumy region 36 times, damaging homes and farm buildings.
