Militants violate ceasefire 31 times

The militants violated ceasefire 31 times in the ATO area in eastern Ukraine over past 24 hours.

"The Russian-terrorist illegal armed formations continue violating the ceasefire in the ATO area. Over past 24 hours, the militants tried to provoke the Ukrainian troops into returning the fire 31 times. All the attempts of the terrorists were unsuccessful," reads the statement.

As noted, the militants used small arms, sniper rifles, and antitank rocket launchers to shell the Ukrainian positions near Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk).

According to the ATO Headquarters, the militants used 82mm mortars to launch two attacks on the ATO positions outside Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk). In addition, the terrorists used small arms and heavy machine guns to launch ten attacks on Ukrainian servicemen near Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk).
