Militants shell ATO troops 55 times

The illegal armed groups intensified shelling along the frontline in eastern Ukraine over the past day. The enemy shelled ATO forces 55 times.

"In the Donetsk direction, the enemy used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to fire on our fortifications near Mayorske [45km north of Donetsk], Novhorodske [34km north of Donetsk], Luhanske [59km north-east of Donetsk], Avdiyivka [18km north of Donetsk], Marinka [35 km south-west of Donetsk], Pisky [12km north-west of Donetsk], Opytne [11.5km north-west of Donetsk] and Butovka coal mine [11.4km north-west of Donetsk]," reads the statement.

The positions of the Ukrainian military in Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) were shelled from 82mm mortars.
