Outside village Pisky servicemen blown up by landmine: one dead and two injured
Outside village Pisky in the Donetsk region, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, and two were injured by a landmine Wednesday.
Advisor to the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration Tetyana Huba wrote on Facebook.
"One serviceman was killed. Sonechko Dima was brought to military doctors in Selidovo town. His is in a very critical condition; he had traumatic amputation of his two lower extremities, multiple injuries. Another soldier, Viktor, reportedly has shrapnel wounds in abdomen," she wrote.
The soldier nicknamed Vitaly "Kozak" has confirmed this information.
"It seems that they were blown up by Mon-50 landmine. Our platoon leader, a young man, has lost his two feet and now medical doctors are saving his life. Another soldier, also a young man from our engineers’ corps has been injured and another is dead," he said.
