Militants violate ceasefire in Donbas 1,386 times since early August

August 1-25, militants violated the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 1,386 times. They shelled even the sites proposed for mine clearance.

Representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group Yevhen Marchuk posted such data on his Facebook page.

"Within the period of August 1-25, the illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire 1,386 times, including by using the weapons, which should have been withdrawn under the Minsk agreements, in 675 cases," Marchuk wrote.

In addition, on August 1-25, the militants launched 292 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located in the areas of sites proposed for mine clearance.
