Militants launch 57 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

Russian-backed militants launched 57 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day.

As reported, the militants used heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms to shell positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Hranitne (57km south of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) in Mariupol direction.

In Luhansk direction, the terrorists launched ten attacks on ATO troops. The Russian mercenaries fired at Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms, and at Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), using 120mm mortars.

In Donetsk direction, three more attacks were launched on ATO troops. In particular, the illegal armed groups used grenade launchers to shell Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk), and grenade launchers, machine guns, small arms, 82 mm mortars to shell Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk).
