Militants launched 47 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants over the past day launched 47 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbas.

This has been reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

The militants launched 26 attacks on ATO troops in Mariupol direction. The enemy shelled positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms. Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) came under 82mm and 120mm mortar fire.

Eight attacks were launched in Donetsk direction. Terrorists fired at Avdiivka, Slavne, using 82mm mortars, machine guns, grenade launchers and small arms.

Thirteen ceasefire violations were recorded in Luhansk direction.
