Militants launch 44 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 44 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

As noted, in Mariupol direction, the enemy used 122mm artillery to shell Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and 120mm and 82mm mortars to shell Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne. In addition, militants fired at Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Vodiane, Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), and Shyrokyne, using grenade launchers and small arms.

In Donetsk direction, terrorists used 120mm and 82mm mortars to shell Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk) and Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk). Ukrainian troops in Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk) came under grenade launcher and heavy machine gun fire.

In Luhansk direction, terrorists fired at Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk) and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
