Trilateral Contact Group to meet in Minsk today
A sitting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) to settle the situation in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, is to take place today in Minsk at 3 p.m. (local time).
Darka Olifer, press secretary of Ukrainian representative in the group, former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, wrote on her Facebook page.
She also informed that yesterday a video conference meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group was not held because of the absence of representatives of separate regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Russia.
"The Ukrainian side discussed the deterioration of the situation near Avdiyivka with Ertugrul Apakan, Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM), Martin Sajdik, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the TCG, and military representatives of Ukraine and Russia in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC),” Olifer said.
