Militants launch 115 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 115 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. Three Ukrainian soldiers were killed, another seven were wounded.

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants shelled Ukrainian positions in Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), using BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 120mm and 82mm mortars, tanks, grenade launchers and small arms.

In Mariupol direction, terrorists used BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers to shell ATO troops outside Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk). Ukrainian troops in Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), came under 120mm and 82mm mortars.

In Luhansk direction, militants used 152mm artillery to shell Novozvanivka, Novooleksandrivka and mortars to fire at Krymske, Katerynivka.
