Militants launched 91 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 91 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used machine guns, infantry fighting vehicles and antiaircraft mounts to shell Ukrainian positions outside Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). ATO troops also came under 120mm mortar and 122mm artillery fire near Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol).

In Donetsk direction, Russian mercenaries used all types of weapons, including heavy mortars and tanks, to launch attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). Ukrainian positions near Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Troitske (69km west of Luhansk) came under 120mm mortar fire.

In Luhansk direction, militants used grenade launchers, 82mm and 120mm mortars to fire at Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk). ATO troops in Orikhove (75km north of Luhansk) came under 82mm mortar fire.
