Militants launched 112 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 112 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used 120mm mortars and 122mm artillery to shell Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). ATO troops outside Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) came under grenade launcher, 120mm and 82mm mortar and 122mm and 152mm artillery fire.

In Donetsk direction, militants fired at Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), using heavy weapons, tanks and 120mm mortars. Ukrainian strongholds also came under 82mm mortar fire near Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk) and Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, Russian-backed militants launched attacks on Ukrainian troops near Slavne (25km south-west of Donetsk) and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), using anti-tank grenade launchers and mortars.
