Militants launched 11 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 11 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy violated ceasefire 11 times over the past day. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of the enemy shelling,” the report reads.

In Donetsk direction, the enemy shelled Ukrainian defenders near Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Slavne (25km south-west of Donetsk), using mortars of various calibres and small arms.

In Luhansk direction, the tensest situation was observed in Svitlodarsk area. Russian-backed militants used IFV, 82mm mortars, machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions near Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk).
