Militants launched 45 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day
Russian-backed militants launched 45 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in Donbas over the past day.

In Donetsk direction, terrorists fired 120mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms on ATO positions near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), 82mm mortars and grenade launchers – near Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk). In addition, militants used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian strongholds outside Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol), Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), weapons on infantry combat vehicles – near Vodiane and Pavlopol, heavy machine guns – outside Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk) and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), small arms – near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk). ATO troops in the area of Hnutove and Lebedynske came under sniper fire.
In Luhansk direction, Russian-occupation troops used 152mm artillery, sniper and small arms to fire at strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), 120mm mortars – near Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), 82mm mortars and grenade launchers – outside Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), heavy machine guns – near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk).
One Ukrainian soldier was killed, another three soldiers were wounded in enemy shelling.
