Poroshenko meets with paratroopers of 95th Air Assault Brigade
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has thanked the military for serving Ukraine and their dedication, noting that there are few armies in the world with such skills and experience.
The head of state said this in his speech at a meeting with the 95th Air Assault Brigade as part of a working visit to Zhytomyr region, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Over 7,000 warriors-paratroopers have been given the highest state awards of Ukraine for their courage and heroism," Poroshenko said.
The president stressed that 12 paratroopers had been awarded the Hero of Ukraine title (six of them from the 95th Air Assault Brigade).
