Russian-led forces launched 11 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

The armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire 11 times, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements four times, in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy fired 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms on the units of the Joint Forces,” the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-led forces opened fire from 82mm mortars on Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms – on the outskirts of Krasnohorivka (21km west of Donetsk); small arms – outside Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk) and Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); 120mm mortars – in the area of Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy used automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Ukrainian troops near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk); automatic grenade launchers – outside Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk) and Travneve (51km north-east of Donetsk); 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms – in the area of Troitske (69km west of Luhansk).

Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded, another two were injured.

Today, the enemy has already launched three attacks on Joint Forces. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another one was wounded.
