JFO Headquarters: Dismantlement of fortifications ongoing in Bohdanivka
The dismantlement of shelters and fortifications is ongoing in the disengagement area No. 3 in the area of Bohdanivka village in Donetsk region.
“Our staff members have already dismantled two shelters completely. At the same time, pyrotechnics units inspected the territory of fortifications, removed and disposed of three explosive objects in the established manner during the engineering works," deputy head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk region Andriy Danyk said.
According to him, four pyrotechnics units involving 21 staff members and 8 units of equipments and one engineering group involving 9 staff members and 5 units of equipment work in the buffer zone.
Since the beginning of works on the area No. 3, the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine inspected the territory of 30 hectares, identified and disposed of 196 explosive objects.
On November 9, the Ukrainian military and Russian-occupation troops started the process of disengagement of forces and hardware at the site No.3 in the area of the villages of Bohdanivka and Petrivske in Donetsk region.
On October 29, 2019, the reciprocal disengagement of forces and hardware at the site No.2 near Zolote-4 locality in Luhansk region was completed.
The disengagement of forces of Ukrainian army and occupation troops on the site No.1 in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska took place in June.
