Invaders violate ceasefire in Donbas five times

On March 6, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas five times.

“The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars banned under the Minsk agreements, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-occupation troops launched two attacks on Ukrainian troops near Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk) and two more outside Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy fired 82mm mortars, mounted antitank grenade launcher, heavy machine guns and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Zaitseve (62km north-east of Donetsk).

On March 6, one Ukrainian soldier was killed and three more were injured as a result of an infantry fighting vehicle being blown up on an unknown explosive device. One more Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the enemy shelling.

Today, the Russian-occupation troops have not opened fire yet.
