Ukraine at TCG meeting to focus on return to full ceasefire regime
Ukraine, at a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on March 31, will focus on the parties to the conflict in Donbas returning to strict compliance with a full and comprehensive ceasefire, the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG has reported on Facebook.
"Regular meetings of the Trilateral Contact Group via videoconference are to be held according to the following schedule. Videoconferences of working groups on security and political issues, the humanitarian working group, and the economic working group will take place on March 30. A videoconference of the general meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group will be held on March 31," the report said.
The Ukrainian delegation said that the agenda includes ceasefire violations by Russian-backed forces, the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the results of the Paris summit, ensuring security in the conflict zone, compliance with the ceasefire, the further development of a joint action plan, and other issues.
The Ukrainian delegations recalled that consultations at the level of political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Four countries, aimed at returning to a full and comprehensive ceasefire, were underway.
On the instruction of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ruslan Khomchak is conducting a relevant investigation into the death of four Ukrainian servicemen near Shumy on March 26.
"Our main efforts are focused on the parties returning to strict compliance with a full and comprehensive ceasefire regime. Ukraine's international partners support this direction of our policy," the Ukrainian delegation said.
