Nineteen ceasefire violations recorded in eastern Ukraine
Over the past day, 19 ceasefire violations by the armed formations of the Russian Federation were recorded in the Joint Forces Operation area in eastern Ukraine.
"In particular, the enemy opened fire from 82mm mortars near Zolote-4 (59km west of Luhansk) and Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk); 120mm mortars – outside Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol); 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns – outside Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk); 122mm artillery and weapons on BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles – in the area of Starohnativka (51km south of Donetsk); tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns, grenade machine guns, and heavy machine guns – outside Svitlodarsk (57km north-east of Donetsk); heavy machine guns and small arms – near Krasnohorivka (21km west of Donetsk); grenade machine guns and small arms – in the area of Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk)," the press center of the JFO Headquarters informs.
The occupiers also used 122mm artillery systems and 120mm mortars to shell civilian infrastructure and private residential sector in Avdiivka.
In Luhansk region, the enemy Orlan-10-class UAV was spotted.
As of 7 a.m. on July 3, three ceasefire violations were recorded. No combat casualties among Joint Forces personnel were reported.
Ukrainian soldiers opened fire in response to the enemy shelling.
The Ukrainian side of the JCCC promptly responded to the violations through the OSCE SMM, using the coordination mechanism.
