OSCE spots Grad multiple rocket launchers, Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers in occupied Donbas
The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) has recorded Grad multiple rocket launchers, Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, and tanks deployed in violation of withdrawal lines in the occupied Donetsk region.
According to an OSCE report dated August 17, a mini UAV spotted three multiple launch rocket systems (BM-21 Grad, 122mm), 17 tanks, three towed howitzers (2A65 Msta-B, 152mm), three self-propelled howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm), and three probable towed mortars (type undetermined) in a training area near Pokrovka (36km east of Donetsk).
In addition, the SMM patrol detected a multiple launch rocket system (BM-21 Grad, 122mm) near Myrne (28km south-west of Luhansk) and a surface-to-air missile system (9K33 Osa) near Velyke Orikhove (27km east of Donetsk).
By these actions, the armed formations of the Russian Federation continue to show a reluctance to fulfill the previously reached agreements.
As reported, on August 17, 11 ceasefire violations by the armed formations of the Russian Federation were recorded in the Joint Forces Operation area in eastern Ukraine.
