Invaders mortar Avdiivka’s civilian infrastructure

Russian occupation forces on Saturday opened fire on civilian infrastructure sites in Avdiivka.

Fortunately, no locals were injured in the shelling, reads a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces, according to Ukrinform.

The occupiers employed 120 mm mortars and 122 mm artillery, proscribed by the Minsk Agreements.

Civilian infrastructure was damaged in the attack, the report reads.

The ceasefire violation was duly reported to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission through an established mechanism.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted into the breach.

Ukrainian forces have delivered an “adequate response” to suppress enemy fire.

The Ukrainian military is monitoring the situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone.

As reported earlier, Ukraine’s national railway operator JSC Ukrzaliznytsia has banned the 36136 Kyiv-Avdiivka train route to Pokrovsk for three next days over the said shelling.
