OSCE SMM records over 200 ceasefire violations in occupied Donetsk region
Over the past day, OSCE SMM recorded 205 ceasefire violations in Donetsk region and three ceasefire violations in Luhansk region.
“In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded 205 ceasefire violations, including 31 explosions (three airbursts and 28 undetermined),” reads the OSCE SMM daily report 251/2021 issued on October 26, 2021.
The majority of ceasefire violations occurred east of Chermalyk (government-controlled, 77km south of Donetsk), inside and near the disengagement area near Petrivske (non-government-controlled, 41km south of Donetsk) and in areas north of Shyrokyne (government-controlled, 100km south of Donetsk).
In the previous 24 hours, the Mission recorded 241 ceasefire violations in the region, the majority of which also occurred inside and near the disengagement area near Petrivske and north of Shyrokyne.
“In Luhansk region, the SMM recorded three ceasefire violations, all near the disengagement area near Zolote (government-controlled, 60km west of Luhansk) (see below),” the Mission reports.
In the previous 24 hours, the OSCE SMM recorded seven ceasefire violations in the region, most of which also occurred in areas near the disengagement area near Zolote.
